FYW- Why Are You Laughing?

I watched the trailer and a few scenes from  Jennifer's Body , and I have to say I find the movie to be hilarious. At first, I was a little confused because the film seemed to be a horror film, but as I continued to watch I began to see how funny Jennifer was. She comes up with very quick, humorous one-liners that keep the audience laughing because it comes out of  nowhere . In one scene for instance, Chip stabs Jennifer and she begins to gush blood, as I watched the  scene,  I was expecting Jennifer to either attack Needy or die, but instead she turns to Needy and goes “You got a tampon?”. The incongruity theory can be seen here because this comment is so unexpected. No one would think someone who just got stabbed to ask for a tampon to try and stop  themselves  from bleeding out. Superbad is by far one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. If you have not  watched  it, you are seriously missing out. I have never met a single person who did not enjoy watching the hilariously awkward group of boys carry out their last couple weeks of high school. Superbad is a classic story about two inseparable friends, Seth and Evan, who have known each other since the beginning. The two of them are not exactly considered the “cool people”. In fact, they are the complete opposite. They are  painfully uncomfortable  and the most cringe-worthy, but comical things happen to them. The movie is centered around how the two of them g e t invited to a huge party  by Seth’s crush,  Jules,  and  he offers to bring alcohol . When I think  of Tom and Jerry, thoughts of my  childhood  immediately flood back. I will never forget sitting  in my  family room watching show after show with my brother. The two of them were so entertaining with  their   mischievous  ways and hilarious fights. Each episode is filled with the two of them battling it out as Tom tries to defeat Jerry, and the little mouse  somehow  always manages to escape him. Some of the funniest scenes from the series is when Tom tries to destroy Jerry; however, in the process of trying to catch the mouse Tom brings defeat upon himself. The scenes are countless of when this occurs. In  one episode,  Tom is chasing Jerry around the kitchen trying to catch him, and as a result, a lady slams the broom into Tom’s head to get him to  stop  and knocks him out allowing Jerry  to  escape.
